Cookies & device storage
Version 1.0 · Updated 2 November 2026
Browser storage includes cookies, local storage and session storage. This notice explains the storage used by Relic & Press and the visitor-counting choice available on our website.
Essential storage
Sign-in storage keeps you securely signed in until you sign out or the session expires. Maker shop drafts and no-signal order records can remain on your device until saved, synchronised or cleared. Customer order references help that customer return to their own order tracker. The postal photo basket is held in device memory while ordering, rather than a persistent photo library.
We save your privacy choice in local storage until you change it or clear browser storage. A device marked by you as a testing device stores an exclusion flag until removed. These settings are not advertising profiles.
Clearing device storage can sign you out, remove unfinished changes or remove unsynchronised event orders. Synchronise no-signal records before clearing it. Relic & Press cannot remotely erase copies you download to your device.
Optional visitor counting
Visitor counting is off until you choose “Allow visitor counting”. It records the page path without its query string, an external referring website where available, approximate country or town, device category and time. A daily one-way identifier is calculated from connection and browser information; the analytics record does not store the raw IP address or full browser header. The identifier changes each UTC day and is not linked to a maker account, email address or customer photo.
Session storage remembers whether the tab has already recorded its arrival so later pages do not change the original referral. This marker lasts for the tab session. Your choice lasts until changed or cleared. Signed-in owner/admin testing, marked testing devices, automated bots and preview pages are excluded.
The counting is not advertising tracking, but daily identifiers and approximate location can still constitute personal information. You can decline without losing access to the service. Changing to “Essential only” stops future counting; it does not automatically erase information already lawfully recorded. Use the support hub for privacy requests.
Payments and other providers
Stripe may use its own storage for checkout, payment security and fraud prevention when you use payment tools. Sign-in providers and websites you visit through external links have their own notices. Our visitor-counting choice does not change their settings.
See Stripe’s privacy notice and cookie policy. We do not load advertising pixels or third-party marketing trackers through the Relic newsletter form.
Your browser controls
You can inspect, block or clear storage in your browser settings. Private browsing or blocking storage may affect sign-in, saved drafts, offline records and returning to an order. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling and your rights. This notice applies to the platform, not to separate services a maker uses for their own business.
